Boram Kim, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor in Speech-Language-Hearing-Science Department at Lehman College. As a linguist and speech language pathologist, she is passionate about utilizing technology to assist bilingual individuals facing speech difficulties or impairments.
Her research focus is understanding the relationship between acoustic-articulatory domains in speech production and employing Ultrasound biofeedback techniques for treatment.

Sonora is a M.A student in Speech-Language-Hearing Science program at Lehman College. She earned her B.A. from the University of Delaware where she studied Three Languages (Spanish, French, Arabic) and Linguistics.
Her research interests include multilingualism, language acquisition and development, early intervention, and acquired language disorders.

Ruth is a M.A student in Speech-Language-Hearing Science program at Lehman College. As a Puerto Rican and Dominican Spanish speaker, she is passionate about culturally responsive care, bilingualism, and supporting under served communities.
Her interests include feeding, swallowing therapy for young children, and bilingualism in children with Autism.

Monica is a a M.A student in Speech-Language-Hearing Science program at Lehman College. She holds a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in psychology from Mercy University.
Her research interests include neurodegenerative disorders, acquired language disorders, aging, bilingualism, and biofeedback intervention

Nicole received her B.A. in Human Biology from CUNY Hunter College. She is currently enrolled in SLP Post-Bacc program at Lehman College; her interests within the field include bilingualism and articulation.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, looking at art, and hanging out with her niece.

Rion Iwasaki, from Tokyo, Japan, is a Ph.D. candidate in the program of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at Graduate Center CUNY. His name means reason (理) and sounds (音).
Currently he examines tongue articulation of devoiced vowels in Tokyo Japanese using ultrasound imaging.

Annie is a M.A. student in Speech-Language-Hearing Science program at Lehman College. As a bilingual speaker herself, she is excited to contribute to the research about the way languages interact in multilingual speakers. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
Her research interests include multilingual language acquisition and production, cognitive rehabilitation, and feeding/swallowing.

Ojan (/oʒæn/ borrowed from Farsi) is a high school senior at the Brooklyn Latin School. Enlightened by philosophers of the Linguistic turn and ancient development of math/science, he enjoys the study of classical languages, acquisition methodology, and the mind.
In his free time, he is a concert photographer, cyclist, and hockey fanatic.

Pema is an M.A. student in the Speech Language-Hearing Science program at Lehman College. She earned B.A. in Developmental Psychology from Hunter College. She speaks Dzongkha, Nepali, and Hindi.
Her research interests are multilingual language development and culturally/linguistically responsive practices within Himalayan South Asian communities in New York City.
